LEGATES

WHAT ARE THEY?

Legates are our Discords Event Organisers - They are in charge of choosing the dates/times and making sure that a multiplayer game happen each month.

Legates are required to hold sign ups for their respective games that are open to all to sign up. They then use a priority based system for letting people play.

The Priority:

  • Senator Role or Above (Patron $5+ or Twitch Sub)

  • Active Discord Users

  • Anybody Else

Exceptions:

  • If you have signed up for a game, and have missed it without giving a good amount of notice or have broken our rules of the discord you will be de-prioritised.

WHO ARE THE legates?

Legates get set a preferred game and they will organise events for that game. If you’re interested in becoming one, send me a message on Discord and I’ll consider it. I’m hoping to have about 2 per game. The games we’re supporting right now are: Stellaris, Total War, Imperator: ROME

IF YOU ARE A LEGATE:

How SHOULD I organise the games?

Legates can inform me about the game they want to organise and then I have the sign ups ready for them on my website based on any info/rules they wanted. This will never take longer than 24hrs. They then have access to the sign up results and can organise the game from there. I will of course announce the sign ups on our platforms and I may even join myself!

WHAT CAN I MAKE?

Anything, you decide the format, times, mods, rules, length, amount of players. Ideally try to make as best an experience for as many of the community as the game will allow without sacrificing the quality of the event. 50 player, 10hr Imperator session might sound good, but it’s probably too laggy and a bit too long. Try find a middle ground. You can always reach out and ask me.

DO I GET ANYTHING FOR BEING ONE?

I plan on rewarding Legates with upcoming DLC for the games they manage. This is based on running successful events, so no immediate promises.
